Romans 12:2 AMP. “And do not be conformed to this world [any longer with its superficial values and customs], but be transformed and progressively changed [as you mature spiritually] by the renewing of your mind [focusing on godly values and ethical attitudes], so that you may prove [for yourselves] what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect [in His plan and purpose for you].”

LEARNING TO THINK LIKE JESUS:
Have this same attitude in yourselves which was in Christ Jesus [look to Him as your example in selfless humility],”
Philippians 2:5 AMP
“Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:”
Philippians 2:5 KJV
“In your lives, you must think and act like Christ Jesus.”
Philippians 2:5 NCV
We understand that God’s Desire for us is to be Transformed by the Renewing of our minds. In order to live like Jesus because He is our example, let's see how Jesus thinks.
I like the NCV Translation, you must think and act like Christ Jesus. Your thinking will become your action, your behavior.
Your actions will always be consistent with thought life. You can not think of lack and poverty and create wealth. You can not succeed with thoughts of failure.
Your thinking will be your acting. The word used in these different translations are attitude, mind, and think. We want to learn to think like Jesus so we can be and do like Jesus.
Have an attitude, mind, and think like Jesus then you will act, behave and produce like Jesus.
THE THINKING OF JESUS.
When we attempt to share this though so many people will say there is no way to think, act, and live like Jesus. The truth is we can if we learn, study, allow the Holy Spirit to teach us all things that Jesus has said to us from His Word.
Just like children they see you as parents, they hear you, then they say and act as you do. This is how God made us. Everything starts in our thoughts.
Philippines 2:5 tells us to think and act like Jesus. God would not tell us to do something if it was not possible to do. Many times the things that God calls us to do will challenge ourselves. Many times he says to love, serve, give, help when we in our flesh want to do the opposite.
You have to be aware there is apart of you that will challenge your spirit agenda, that is your flesh.

10 CHARACTERISTICS OF THINKING LIKE JESUS FROM JESUS:
Jesus shared so much of how He thought and the way to think. These ten are some of the greatest characteristics of How Jesus thought. If you desire to grow, excel, and achieve like Jesus take these and grow with God.
THE thinKING OF JESUS.
1. I KNOW EXACTLY WHO I AM: This is the beginning of your journey into how you should think. WHO ARE YOU? Most people will answer this question around there name, or something they do or have. WHO ARE YOU? A SLAVE WILL THINK A CERTAIN WAY. THE SON OF A KING WILL THINK ANOTHER WAY.
JESUS KNEW WHO HE WAS. HE SPOKE OUT WHO HE WAS. I AM THE BREAD OF LIFE. I AM THE LIGHT OF THE WORD. I AM THE GOOD SHEPHERD. I AM THE RESURRECTION AND THE LIFE. I AM THE WAY, THE TRUTH AND THE LIFE. I AM THE TRUE VINE. I AM THE SON OF GOD.
JESUS KNEW WHO HE WAS. WHO ARE YOU? I AM A CHILD OF GOD.
John 1:12 AMP. “But to as many as did receive and welcome Him, He gave the right [the authority, the privilege] to become children of God, that is, to those who believe in (adhere to, trust in, and rely on) His name—”
Who you are or who you think you are is the foundation of your thinking. WHO DO YOU REALLY BELIEVE YOU TO BE?
Think about this thought. WHO AM I? Most people answer before Jesus, I am I do not know. Most people will answer this by what they own or what they have. Who you are has nothing to do with your company, your status, your position.
Who are you in God?
2. I KNOW GOD’S PURPOSE FOR MY LIFE:
God's Purpose Gives Life Meaning And Value ... today's culture is that many people value their own happiness and fulfillment over God's purposes for their lives. The purpose of their lives is far greater than personal fulfillment, peace of mind, or even happiness.
It's far greater than our families, our careers, or even our wildest dreams and ambitions. If they want to know why they were placed on this planet, they must begin with God, not yourself. Each of us was born by HIS purpose and for HIS purpose.
The world has a definition for purpose, whatever you want to be or have, on and on but it begins with self. In order to understand God’s purpose for you, YOU MUST SEEK HIM TO KNOW WHY HE CREATED YOU AND YOUR PURPOSE IN HIM. FOR SUCH A TIME IS THIS.
Ephesians 1:11 AMP. “In Him also we have received an inheritance [a destiny—we were claimed by God as His own], having been predestined (chosen, appointed beforehand) according to the purpose of Him who works everything in agreement with the counsel and design of His will,”
To discover your God purpose it starts with your IDENTITY. WHO ARE YOU?
Remember when Jesus was a little boy, his mother Mary could not find him. When they did find him, Jesus was teaching in the Synagogs.
Why are you here? Our purpose is to obey, love, and serve our Lord Jesus Christ.
The original purpose for us from the beginning given to Adam and Eve.
Genesis 1:28 AM.“And God blessed them [granting them certain authority] and said to them, “Be fruitful, multiply, and fill the earth, and subjugate it [putting it under your power]; and rule over (dominate) the fish of the sea, the birds of the air, and every living thing that moves upon the earth.”
3. I AM ALWAYS AWARE THAT GOD IS WITH ME: JESUS SAID HE IS NEVER ALONE BECAUSE HIS FATHER IS ALWAYS WITH ME. JESUS SAID HE WOULD NEVER LEAVE US NOR FORSAKE US. THIS IS HOW JESUS THINKS AND SO SHOULD YOU.
NEVER JUDGE GOD BY WHAT IS HAPPENING IN YOUR LIFE AT THE MOMENT. WORD SAYS ALL THINGS WORK TOGETHER FOR GOOD TO THOSE WHO LOVE GOD AND CALLED ACCORDING TO HIS PURPOSE.
4. I LET GOD HELP ME CHOOSE MY WORDS: JESUS CONSTANTLY SAID HE SPOKE ONLY WHAT THE FATHER WOULD TELL HIM. IN THINKING LIKE JESUS LET HIS WAY OF SPEAKING, HIS WORDS FILL YOUR MOUTH.
5. I DON’T WORRY ABOUT TRYING TO PLEASE EVERYONE: Jesus made statements that His main concern was to please His Father God. If God is pleased with me, that is all that matters. To many people are people pleasers which can cause you to be untrue to God and You. God first.
6. I DEPEND ON GOD’S POWER INSTEAD OF MY OWN: JESUS DEPENDED ON GOD’S DIRECTIONS FOR HIS LIFE.
7. I FORGIVE MY ENEMIES AND THOSE WHO HURT OR DO ME WRONG: THIS IS A HUGE PART OF THINKING LIKE JESUS. FROM THE CROSS HE TEACHES US HOW HE THINKS ABOUT THOSE WHO DID HIM WRONG. THIS THINKING LIKE JESUS IS FREEDOM, IT’S LIBERATING.
Luke 23:34 AMP.“And Jesus was saying, “Father, forgive them; for they do not know what they are doing.” And they cast lots, dividing His clothes among themselves.”
8. I AM WILLING TO SACRIFICE FOR OTHERS:
Mark 10:45 AMP. “For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life as a ransom for many.”
9. I WANT TO DO GOD’S WILL, NOT MINE:
John 6:38AMP. “For I have come down from heaven, not to do My own will, but to do the will of Him who sent Me.”
Many people choose their own will and try to fit God's Will into their Will.
10. I THINK WITH AN ETERNAL PERSPECTIVE:
Philippians 3:20 AMP. “But [we are different because] our citizenship is in heaven. And from there we eagerly await [the coming of] the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ;”
“You only have control over three things in your life, the thoughts you think, the images you visualize, and the actions you take.” Jack Canfield
