Purpose means the reason for which something is done or created or for which something exists.

The purpose I will focus on is FOR WHICH SOMETHING EXISTS.

Jeremiah 1:5 AMP. "Before I formed you in the womb I knew you [and approved of you as My chosen instrument], And before you were born I consecrated you [to Myself as My own]; I have appointed you as a prophet to the nations.”

Know God is speaking to Jeremiah about Jeremiah. Listen to this powerful word to Jeremiah, but I also believe the Truth is the same for us.

Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you. Think of this thought. I am known by God. He knows me even before I was formed in my mother's womb. God knows me.

We want to see and understand what God’s Purpose for our lives looks like. Before we know and understand God’s Purpose we must first understand that God’s Purpose for you started before you were born.

God knew each one of us. He I believe has a wonderful, powerful, and amazing life for each of us. It’s like God has a blueprint for our lives. He has it, but it is up to us to discover it and then to obey it.

This tells me each one of is God’s Intention. We can not be the accident of humans. No. God has made you intentional with His Plan in mind for you and I.

God does not control our lives but He does have a master plan for each one of us. We can see in this word to Jeremiah.

God then says, “And before you were born I consecrated you (to Myself as My own).

We are known by God long before we are formed.

Now God says He places our callings our God purpose before we are born.

Consecrated means having been made or declared sacred and set apart.

Everyone of us has a dynamic God Purpose that God knew you and I before we were formed and that we are declared by God as sacred and set apart.

Here is the challenge when you speak of purpose.

Purpose is the reason why you exist. God Purpose is what and why God created you to be and do.

The reason many people fail in life is they do not first get God’s Purpose of who they are to be.

Image you were born the son of a King but some how you got separated from your father the King and end up being adopted by a family who were pig farmers. Your birth to a King but living as a pig farmer. Pig farming will become who you are and what you do because that is all you know.

We are all known and born to a King but we all gotten separated during life. The purpose of the church and Gospel is to find and help people come to know who they really are so they can do what they were really called to do. Your to do will be all messed up until you come to know why you exist. Why God created you to be and to do.

Who you are is the key to what you accomplish and do.

The pig farmer prince will stay a pig farmer until he finds out who he is. He is doing what his culture, environment, and people who influence him are doing. He is becoming just like those he associates with.

God knows me. God made me with a special purpose.

1 Peter 2:9 AMP. “But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a consecrated nation, a [special] people for God’s own possession, so that you may proclaim the excellencies [the wonderful deeds and virtues and perfections] of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light.”

PROCLAIM MEANS implies declaring clearly, forcefully, and authoritatively.

The pro- in proclaim means "forward, out", so a proclamation is an "outward" statement intended for the public.

Everyone of us should be proclaiming, declaring God’s wonderful deeds, virtues, and perfections to others because He called us all out of darkness.

When I see people who are timid and fearful to share their faith I wonder what kind of faith do they have. How was their conversion? Listen if God saved you and pulled you out of some really dark places and led you to the light, PROCLAIM WHAT HE DID FOR YOU.

Proverbs 29:25 AMP. “The fear of man brings a snare, But whoever trusts in and puts his confidence in the Lord will be exalted and safe.”

Proverbs 29:25 MSG. “The fear of human opinion disables; trusting in God protects you from that.”

The word is when you are more afraid of what people will think of you or their opinions of you stop you from proclaiming God and His Good deeds to them.

Snare is a trap. The message bible uses the word disables.

Disables means to make ineffective or inoperative. You must proclaim what Jesus has done for you to people. This builds our faith and trust in God and not in ourselves. When I hear someone who will not give God credit for their success they are not proclaimers.

All that we have is because of God. He gives us the lungs to breathe, the heart to beat and pump our blood. The oxygen in the air for us. Everything the life, stuff, family, feelings, God has blessed us all. Why don’t we proclaim His goodness to others so they might know His Peace, Love, and Purpose for their lives too.

God has a special purpose because we are special to God. Only you can be and do what He has created you to do.

The challenge when we do not know who we really are.

We are God’s special people who have His Purpose.

People create the wrong purposes when they do not know God or His purpose for their lives.

My Purpose verses God’s Purpose.

My purpose was to be wealthy. Yvonne and I started out with broke living in projects and we dreamed of wealth and power. Our thoughts were real-estate. We started to create this purpose but really it was not God’s Purpose for us. I like real estate and wealth. I would rather have it than not have it.

I remember being torn between God’s Purpose and My purpose. God was pulling at my heart and life to follow Him. I remember one day finally setting aside the real estate dream and picking up my bible and pursuing God’s Purpose for my life.

Tell the story about God’s purpose and calling. God said, “STAY TRUE TO YOUR CALLING.”

Proverbs 19:21 AMP. “Many plans are in a man’s mind, But it is the Lord’s purpose for him that will stand (be carried out).”

Acts 13:36 AMP. “For David, after he had served the purpose of God in his own generation, fell asleep and was buried among his fathers and experienced decay [in the grave];”
