Accelerate our love for others
February is generally know for love, with Valentines and all of that. Our theme is PREPARATION FOR ACCELERATION.
PREPARATION: the action or process of making something ready for use or service or of getting ready for some occasion, test, or duty.
Action and or Process of making ready for use.
ACCELERATION: the act or process of moving faster or happening more quickly, the act or process of speeding up.
PREPARATION FOR ACCELERATION IS SPEEDING UP MOVING FASTER THE ACTION OR PROCESS OF MAKING SOMETHING READY FOR USE OR SERVICE.
There are four in this series: Love God, Love Self, Love Family, Love Neighbors, Others Today we will receive an empowering lesson on loving self. Loving Me.
“AND YOU SHALL LOVE THE LORD YOUR GOD WITH ALL YOUR HEART, AND WITH ALL YOUR SOUL (life), AND WITH ALL YOUR MIND (thought, understanding), AND WITH ALL YOUR STRENGTH.’ This is the second: ‘YOU SHALL [unselfishly] LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOURSELF.’ There is no other commandment greater than these.” MARK 12:30-31 AMP
Love: to breath after, to love (sensually) lover. To love in the heart and head. To love God is to love like a couple who have waited to consummate their love and marriage on their honeymoon. They waited and waited and saved themselves for this moment.
The love, the expectation, the awesomeness to become one with your love and soulmate.
I think many don’t see God as a lover but we see God as a grandpa or SugarDaddy. Grandpa give me this and give me that. You love grandpa but this word love is so much deeper, intense, intimate.
I think some people see God as just a therapist, someone you go to just to share your problems and someone to listen to you and tell you what to do. He is more He is your intimate lover.
I think some people see God as a friend, someone to just hang out when you are board when you want them they are available. He is more than just a friend He is your Spouse.
I think some people see God as policeman, there to serve and protect. God is more than that. He is your lover.
Love must come from God. Until you have yielded and surrendered to receive His Love you will try to love in your self which is not complete or totally true. You can try but you mess up and fail. God is Love.
Heart: the heart is referring to a spiritual relationship with God beginning from within. Your inner world will create your outer world. To the level you surrender and let go and love God with all your heart will determine everything outside of you.
Soul: breath, spirit gentle breath The Soul refers to ones whole being as a living person, which includes the heart but much more. The call is love God with all our heart within and then moves to outside our lives. Love God with our passions, hunger, perceptions, and thoughts. WE are also to love Him with how we talk and walk. To love Him with what we do with our hands and how we utilize our talents, and how we react to challenges.
OUR ENTIRE BEINGS ARE TO DISPLAY OUR LOVE FOR GOD.
Mind: deep thought, imagination, understanding, the intellect. DIVINE CREATIVE SIDE OUR THOUGHTS. Strength: force, forcefulness, ability, might.
This is the second: ‘YOU SHALL [unselfishly] LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOURSELF. LOVE OTHERS WITH ALL YOUR HEART, SOUL, MIND AND STRENGTH.
Interestingly, the Greek translation of this word is “power.” The Aramaic translation is “wealth.” Both of these may actually be pointing in the same direction, for the strength of a person is not simply who he is, but what he has at his disposal. To love God with our strength and wealth is a sign of true love. When we withhold our power or wealth its shows our devotion is some where else other than God.
The beginning of LOVE MUST START WITH GOD FIRST THEN TO OTHERS. OUR NEIGHBORS.
We are commanded to love God with All our heart, soul, mind and strength. The second is to love our neighbor. We will get to later AS YOUR SELF OR SELF LOVE LATER. MANY CLAIM TO LOVE GOD BUT OUR ACTIONS SPEAK ANOTHER MESSAGE. OUR NEIGHBOR IS EVERYONE. OUR NEIGHBOR IS ALSO OUR FAMILY BUT ACCELERATE YOUR LOVE FOR YOUR FAMILY IS NEXT WEEK AND THE FOLLOWING IS LOVE YOURSELF LAST.
Many claim to love God but there is a disconnect with the second command to love others the same way. I believe when you truly know that you are totally love by God and you really and truly love God that Gods Amazing Love flows through you to others. WHEN YOU HAVE A HARD TIME LOVING OTHERS ITS NOT THE OTHERS PROBLEM. IT A DISCONNECT WITH YOUR GOD LOVE. SOMETHING IN YOU IS NOT ALLOWING ALLOWING HIS LOVE TO FLOW THRU YOU TO OTHERS.
“Beloved, let us [unselfishly] love and seek the best for one another, for love is from God; and everyone who loves [others] is born of God and knows God [through personal experience].” 1 JOHN 4:7 AMP
When I read this I begin to wonder and think we need to do a love investigation. This love is unselfish, seeks the best for others. This love is from God. This says many who claim to love could we just be operating our of our love. Maybe this is why many struggle in relationships, harboring resentments, unforgiveness, hurt and hurting. HURT PEOPLE HURT PEOPLE. HEALED PEOPLE HEAL PEOPLE. LOVED PEOPLE LOVE PEOPLE. THIS LOVE IS BORN OF GOD AND THEY KNOW GOD THRU PERSONAL EXPERIENCES. WE FEEL LOVE AND COMPASSION WHEN WE SEE THE HOMELESS OR SOMEONE LIKE THAT. WHICH IS WONDERFUL. BUT THIS LOVE WHEN IT IS FROM GOD SEES MUCH MORE THAN A PERSONS PHYSICAL NEED.
THIS LOVE SEES THE HEART THAT IS BROKEN AND IN NEED OF GOD. Loving others like Jesus loves their soul. It is so much easier to hand someone $5 or buy them a meal. I am not belittling this love act. This love act makes us feel good. US FEEL GOOD.
HERE IS WHAT MAKES GOD FEEL GOOD IS WHEN YOU SHARE HIM, SALVATION, HOPE, ETERNITY, WITH HIS CHILDREN. HERE IS WHAT MAKES GOD FEEL GOOD IS WHEN WE CARE ABOUT THEIR HEART AND SOUL THAT SEEK TO BRING THEM BACK INTO A RELATIONSHIP WITH HIM. USUALLY WHEN I AM TALKING TO SOMEONE I BEING THE CONVERSATION TO AROUND GOD. GOD IS LOVE. GOD IS HOPE. GOD IS LIFE.
LESS THAN 10% CHRISTIAN BELIEVERS SHARE THIER FAITH FACE TO FACE. 30% SHARE ON SOCIAL MEADIA. LESS THREATENING I GUESS. THE BIBLES SAYS GOD WOULD LEAVE THE FOUND 99 to look for the 1 who is lost. See Gods heart.
“The one who does not love has not become acquainted with God [does not and never did know Him], for God is love. [He is the originator of love, and it is an enduring attribute of His nature.]” 1 JOHN 4:8 AMP
This is saying if you do not love others you do not really know God. If you love me you will love my children no matter what.
“By this the love of God was displayed in us, in that God has sent His [One and] only begotten Son [the One who is truly unique, the only One of His kind] into the world so that we might live through Him.” JOHN 4:9 AMP
This love of God displayed in us. That we would LIVE THROUGH HIM.
LIVE THROUGH HIM: through means the channel of an act. Something going through t something else. Pipeline. Straw. Vents.
“In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation [that is, the atoning sacrifice, and the satisfying offering] for our sins [fulfilling God’s requirement for justice against sin and placating His wrath]. Beloved, if God so loved us [in this incredible way], we also ought to love one another.” 1 JOHN 4:10-11 AMP
God loved us first. When love is shown first it gives the release for others to love also. All that God did for us should be enough for us to get our eyes and minds off us and and on to others.
Here is the challenge from God to us. Since I loved in such an incredible way, you also ought to love one another.
“No one has seen God at any time. But if we love one another [with unselfish concern], God abides in us, and His love [the love that is His essence abides in us and] is completed and perfected in us.” 1 JOHN 4:12 AMP
If we love one another, if is condition. On the condition you do this you get that. His love completes and perfects us.
“By this we know [with confident assurance] that we abide in Him and He in us, because He has given to us His [Holy] Spirit.” 1 JOHN 4:13
“We love, because He first loved us. If anyone says, “I love God,” and hates (works against) his [Christian] brother he is a liar; for the one who does not love his brother whom he has seen, cannot love God whom he has not seen. And this commandment we have from Him, that the one who loves God should also [unselfishly] love his brother and seek the best for him.” 1 JOHN 4: 19-21 AMP
