FAITH & WORKS. ACTION & ACTIVITY
“For I know the plans and thoughts that I have for you,’ says the LORD, ‘plans for peace and well-being and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.”
Jeremiah 29:11 AMP
Every year about this time our children are heading back to school. It’s a new time, it’s a new day and you begin to look forward to the new schedule. The children have been home for summer vacation and the parents are ready for them to go back to school.
This is year has really been trying for many parents because of the COVID-19 and all the changes and challenges for school children. It is different, it is challenging, it is something so brand new to parents and how to see what going forward looks like takes Vision.
LOOKING FORWARD TO NEW IS WHERE WE WILL START. VISION IS THE BEGINNING OF ANYTHING NEW FOR YOU. PLANNING COMES NEXT BUT YOU MUST START WITH VISION.
BEFORE WE RUN WITH SOMETHING, START SOMETHING WE MUST FIRST GET A VISION FOR WHAT WE ARE GOING TO START OR RENEW OR CHANGE. VISION IS THE BEGINNING OF ANY PROJECT, TRIP, VACATION, NEW SCHOOL YEAR, WHATEVER YOU AND I MUST START WITH VISION.
THINK, PLAN, IMAGINATION, WISDOM, VISION=ENVISION
Vision: the ability to think about or plan the future with imagination or wisdom.
Think in terms of vision as thought, concept, or object formed by the imagination, something you imagine. This picture you see in your mind.
We all have pictures in our mind about a lot of things. This vision is what you see with your minds eye.
Envision means to conceive or see something within one’s mind, to imagine. Vision means to imagine something as if it were to be true.
It is important to have the ability to think about and plan for the future with imagination and wisdom by developing the faculty of vision within you.
Vision: : a thought, concept, or object formed by the imagination. Something that you imagine : a picture that you see in your mind. Exceptional ability to know or believe what should happen or be done in the future.
One is seeing something within your mind, to imagine, which is envision. Vision is when you imagine it as if it were to be true. You really got it in you.
Envision is like the creating of a vision. When the vision is alive and inside of your mind and heart it now is Vision and you see it and believe it to be real and true for you.
“Then the LORD answered me and said, “Write the vision And engrave it plainly on [clay] tablets So that the one who reads it will run.”
Habakkuk 2:2 AMP
Have you ever had a great idea? Ever woken up to have something on your mind you knew was great, but because you were so busy you didn’t have time to write it down? But did you have it happen that when you did try to write it down later in the day it seemed that the thought or vision disappeared?
Thoughts can change things when they are implemented. One of the first steps you should do is write it down as soon as possible. Don’t wait until later. I don’t know how many times I began my day with what I thought was an incredible idea or vision, but never wrote it down. If it is not written, it does not come to pass. If it is not written down, we can’t make blueprints or see what it can become.
1. Write the Vision down. Writing the vision down starts bringing it to life.
You must have a clear vision of what want to achieve. Gods vision is clear that’s why He wrote it first in stone and then through inspiration. That’s where it started, and that’s where you have to start if you want to experience a different reality than the one you have now, you have to get clear on what you want. Everything begins with vision. God is very clear what He wants from us.
Exodus 20, God wrote His first visions for us.
The 10 Commandments List, Short Form*
1. You shall have no other gods before Me.
2. You shall not make idols.
3. You shall not take the name of the LORD your God in vain.
4. Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy.
5. Honor your father and your mother.
6. You shall not murder.
7. You shall not commit adultery.
8. You shall not steal.
9. You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor.
10. You shall not covet.
This is why God first wrote the Ten Commandments in stone so people could read it.
God shows us the value of writing visions out. If the commandments would of never got written we would have no law today. We would have no order or structure to build a life, family, business, government, anything. Then God had His words penned by inspired writers so we would have our bible, THE WORD OF GOD. ANOINTED AND INSPIRED BY GOD FOR US.
When I go to a restaurant and they give me a menu, they write a list of what they serve. I read it and I now know what I can expect and what it will cost me, money and calories.
Writing the vision leaves written instructions for you to follow. See the writing of a vision like writing a treasure map with instruction.
The value of writing a vision you have directions to follow and fulfill that vision. When it is not written you forget most of the importance of the vision and instructions.
Ever seen those movies where they are hunting for the lost treasure with only half a map. They are frustrated and guessing and many times going in the wrong direction.
“A man without a vision for his future always returns to his past.” /I>
“The only thing worse than being blind is having sight but no vision.”
“If you don’t have a vision you’re going to be stuck in what you know. And the only thing you know is what you’ve already seen.“
“Champions aren’t made in the gyms. Champions are made from something they have deep inside them – a desire, a dream, a vision.”
2. Read the Vision: You begin the life process by writing the vision. God showed us this. He wrote His Commands and the Word of God. Writing is the first part, then you MUST READ THE VISION OVER AND OVER AND OVER TILL IT GETS INSIDE OF YOU.
Remember envision is the image or idea in thought, but when it gets inside of you and you truly believe it and own it as true this is vision.
Here is an example of the power of READING THE VISION.
“This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall read [and meditate on] it day and night, so that you may be careful to do [everything] in accordance with all that is written in it; for then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will be successful.”
Joshua 1:8 AMP
READ THE WRITTEN VISION OVER AND OVER AND SPEAK IT OVER AND OVER THIS IS HOW TO GET A VISION INSIDE OF YOUR SPIRIT. READ AND MEDITATE ON IT DAY AND NIGHT. THE WORD MEDITATE MEANS TO MUTTER, CHANT WORDS OVER AND OVER. MEDITATE IS TO SPEAK GODS WORD AND VISION OVER AND OVER. READ AND REREAD AND SPEAK AND SPEAK OVER AND OVER AND OVER TILL IT IS IN YOUR SPIRIT. EVERYONE MEDITATES BUT MOST MEDITATE ON THE LACK, THE I AM NOT HAPPY, THE FEARFUL, THE HURT, THE LOSS, THE PAIN, THE STRUGGLE, THE OFFENSE, ETC. OVER AND OVER AND OVER WE READ AND SPEAK, WE ALL MEDITATE BUT ON WHAT VISION DO WE MEDITATE ON?
WHAT EVER YOU MEDITATE ON, YOUR MEDITATION WILL MAKE YOUR WAY.
“for then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will be successful.”
Joshua 1:8 AMP
THEN YOU WILL MAKE YOUR WAY. STOP. YOU AND I MAKE OUR LIVES WHAT THEY WILL BE BY YOUR MEDITATIONS. WHAT EVER WAY YOU MAKE THEN YOU WILL BE THAT WANT YOUR WAY PRODUCES.
3. RUN WITH THE VISION: SHARE IT, TELL IT, HEARLD IT. DANGER OF NO VISION OR NO FOLLOWING THE VISION.
UNRESTRAINED MEANS: no discipline, no self control, slack and lack, no order.
“Hold the vision, trust the process.”
“Your thoughts shape your vision. You see what you choose to see.” Anonymous “Vision without execution is hallucination.”
Revelation: Get the vision and write it down and get it deep inside of you, so you will read it and run with it. Run with the vision. Get the vision inside of you and run with it.
Vision is so great for you to do this.
