You are PRIVILEGED to share your faith

Sermon Notes

Many Christians have fears and phobias around a lot of the things that Christ asks us to do for Him as a result of our salvation. Over 80 % Of believers don’t give tithes or offerings. Over 80% of so called believers are not committed church members or committed attendance. Over 90% never share their faith or invite someone to Christ or church. Only about 20% of the Church supports and serves the local church body.

Many of the people who call them selves believers, Christians are not doing many of the things God calls us to do.

I think the mix up is that religious groups have made all the things we are called to do for Christ and our God a ritual. It’s like you have to do this or your not a child of God.

We were told we have to do this in order to be saved or excepted by God. Gods love is not bought with our works. We do service to God not because we have to.

Our works should come from a place of love and devotion, not a place of rules and regulations.

“The fruit of the [consistently] righteous is a tree of life, And he who is wise captures and wins souls [for God–he gathers them for eternity].” PROVERBS 11:30 AMP

“A good person gives life to others; the wise person teaches others how to live.”
Proverbs 11:30 NCV

He who is wise captures and wins souls for God he gathers them for eternity.
Fruit is produced by the seeds we plant. Many of us are reaping things in life because of the seeds of our lives. Words are seeds, actions, behaviors, choices, beliefs, faith and fear are all seeds. We plant them everyday when we speak, when we react or respond to situations.

The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life. When we are walking in agreement with God we are sowings seeds of hope, faith, love, goodness, caring, compassion, helping, etc. These seeds produce fruit which the fruit has many more seeds to create more fruit. Uuuu

Sharing our faith is a privilege. We get to serve God and we get the privilege to give back to our Lord and Savior resources, our talents, our abilities, our lives to build His Kingdom.

Privilege, not having to or forced to, not manipulated to but we get the Awesome, Amazing Privilege of serving our Lord Jesus Christ.

The disciples walked away from their business to walk and serve Jesus. Their business kept going as they chose the privilege of getting to serve Jesus.

Privilege: Thesaurus.com
Privilege, prerogative refer to a special advantage or right possessed by an individual or group. A privilege is a right or advantage gained by birth, social position, effort, or concession.

He who is wise gets to capture and win souls for God. It is our PRIVILEGE to get to do these things for our God. I served Satan and my self for so many years. Years and years filled with selfishness, bitterness, loneliness, caring for no one not even my self. When Jesus came into my heart and life I could feel life, love, caring, compassion, I was alive again. Remember before Jesus you and I were lost selfish, caring for no one and many times not even our selves.

Everything Jesus asks us to do as attached to it a blessing and reward. The key is will we obey in faith and see for ourselves what God has to offer. He is full of benefits.

“Blessed be the Lord, who daily loadeth us with benefits, even the God of our salvation. Selah.” Psalms 68:19 KJV

What Jesus did was He did an exchange your old heart and life for a new heart and His life.

This is why everything we are instructed to do is a PRIVILEGE.

Some synonyms for privilege are birthright, rights, benefits, advantage.
The privileged believers get certain privileges. We don’t see them as have to, or forced to, that is slavery, bondage when you are forced. We as believers are privileged and get the privilege of serving Christ in Gods Kingdom.

“A good person gives life to others; the wise person teaches others how to live.”
Proverbs 11:30 NCV

A privileged person of God gives life to others. How do we give life? When you got the Life of Jesus in side of you you share this life with someone who does not have this life.

The Word says let your light shine so that men might see your good works. It says don’t hide the light of a covering. Shine, shine so all can see the light of God in you.

You ever see those dimmer lights round switches, you start at dark and as you turn them up the light get brighter and brighter. The level of your walk and faith in Christ determines the dimmer or brighter you are. I am not talking about works alone. No faith with works.

When you have been healed by Jesus, filled by Jesus, loved, by Jesus, delivered by Jesus, set free by Jesus, increased by Jesus you will consider it a privilege to serve Him.

“For it is [not your strength, but it is] God who is effectively at work in you, both to will and to work [that is, strengthening, energizing, and creating in you the longing and the ability to fulfill your purpose] for His good pleasure.” PHILIPPIANS 2:13 AMP

This is not about you trying to drum up the courage to share, but allowing Jesus to work in you and help you to do His Will fulfill your purpose for His good pleasure. It pleases God when you increase and get blessed. You create more wealth and give more and share more, that pleases God. You get healed and get so filled that you share your faith and pray for people that pleases God. You get so set free that you pray for others and invite them to come to know the God who set you free, that pleases God. You got hope and changed your life for the better, that pleases God when you share it with others.

All I do is live out what He does for us. I smile, not because i have to but I am really happy and excited about life. I had no life before Christ. I am joyful, filled with Great expectation of what God is doing in my life. Life is exciting.

I am walking around the Ritz in Maui. It is rainy and cold. So many people are miserable because maybe this is their bucket list vacation, I don’t know but many people are unhappy.
I am so happy and excited about life. What is happening inside of me changes my environment. I did not stop the rain, or cold but my attitude and my perspective about me and my life and time was great.

I go to their front desk a few times to get change. I love to tip so over and over I tip for car service, or house cleaning, whatever. The ladies at the front desk keep asking me questions about the conference. So one ask me am i a speaker at the event. I said no i am not, but i do speak. Here name was Grace and other young lady was Joy. Grace says Pastor Joseph Joy has been so sad lately. I said Joy will you allow me to pray for you, she said yes. So here i am and i speak a blessing and ask the Lord to fill with His Joy so that it overflows to others. She was smiling every day i seen her.

Another Young man was having back trouble, We prayed with Him For God to heal him. On and on I started my faith with people.

““THE SPIRIT OF THE LORD IS UPON ME (the Messiah), BECAUSE HE HAS ANOINTED ME TO PREACH THE GOOD NEWS TO THE POOR. HE HAS SENT ME TO ANNOUNCE RELEASE (pardon, forgiveness) TO THE CAPTIVES, AND RECOVERY OF SIGHT TO THE BLIND, TO SET FREE THOSE WHO ARE OPPRESSED (downtrodden, bruised, crushed by tragedy), TO PROCLAIM THE FAVORABLE YEAR OF THE LORD [the day when salvation and the favor of God abound greatly].””
LUKE 4:18-19 AMP

This is our call, this is our duty, this is what we are to do outside of this church to reach them.
