Sermon Notes

God our Creator created us in His image and likeness. We were created to be like God. We are not little Gods but we have Gods DNA in us by His Spirit. When we know who our Daddy is we understand better who we are.

There are two sources and forces in our world. We know that God, Jehova is the source of life, prosperity, joy, peace and power, positive, faith, and love. This source and force desire for you is to excel, achieve, grow, create, serve God and humanity. The other source and force is death and destruction, depression, hopelessness, sickness, hate , division, greed, etc.

God the source and force has given us gifts, powers to do amazing and incredible things. The enemy, the force and source of this age is the source and force of lies. His objective is to separate you from the source and force of God. If the enemy can trick, convince, lie to you to unplug, separate yourself, or stop believing in the source and force of God your Father you will live and operate in your supernatural gifts, talents and abilities from your Daddy God.

Children are so pure in this area. They operate so freely in this gift. They have not been filled with toxic beliefs and thoughts yet. Example: My son Joseph brought Adoni and Genesis over to go swimming. So we all walk to the pool. I live in a small gated community and by the pool is a children’s play area in a bed of sand. Joseph and Adoni jump in the jacuzzi, but Genesis asks me to go to sand area to play with her. We are digging and making things in the sand. She turns to me and says let’s play mommy and baby. I said ok and she instantly went into this mommy mode. Telling me what to make. She would talk to me like my mommy and was to be her little baby. She was into it. I played along to see her imagination at work. It was amazing. She was so into to it. IT WAS REAL TO HER.

Children are so purely gifted with this Amazing gift from thier Father.

Imagination is such a powerful force, a gift from God. God gave us many gifts the are supernatural gifts given to create and do supernatural things in our natural world.

First comes thought; then organization of that thought, into ideas and plans; then transformation of those plans into reality. The beginning, as you will observe, is in your imagination.
Napoleon Hill

“If you can dream it, you can do it. Always remember that this whole thing was started by a mouse.”

“It’s kind of fun to do the impossible.”

“All our dreams can come true, if we have the courage to pursue them.”

“First, think. Second, believe. Third, dream. And finally, dare

“Laughter is timeless, imagination has no age, dreams are forever.”

“Our greatest natural resource is the minds of our children.”

These are all quotes from Walt Disney. This man understood the power of imagination.
He would sit at play areas watching children laugh and have fun and see the families enjoying each other. This is what got him to creating with his imagination.

We went to Disney Land for Daisy’s birthday. She turned 8 this past Friday. I am in awe as I think and drive and ride the rides all of this was created by a man who used his imagination.

““You will keep in perfect and constant peace the one whose mind is steadfast [that is, committed and focused on You–in both inclination and character], Because he trusts and takes refuge in You [with hope and confident expectation].”
ISAIAH 26:3 AMP

i-maj-i-na’-shun (yetser, sheriruth; dianoia):
“Imagination” is the translation of yetser, properly “a shaping,” hence, “a thought” (Genesis 6:5; 8:21; Deuteronomy 31:21; 1 Chronicles 28:9; 29:18). In Isaiah 26:3 yetser is translated “mind” (King James Version margin “thought” or “imagination”), “whose mind is stayed on thee” (the Revised Version margin “or imagination”);

This word mind means imagination which means a shaping a thought.

“Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.”
Isaiah 26:3 KJV

Mind as a shaping a thought. This is what imagination is really a shaping a thought.

Like playing with clay. It’s just clay until you begin to put shape and form to it. It could a plate, cup or bowl. It could be a statue or figure of something.

I believe we most adults do not know how to use the power of imagination. Because we have been so brain conditioned to think and believe only in reality. Reality today in our culture is only what you can see, touch, feel.

When you get in touch with the inner you and God there is this amazing gift to imagine with imagination. To see what eyes can’t see, to touch and feel what the human can not touch and feel but when you are in the imagination zone you can.

“for we walk by faith, not by sight [living our lives in a manner consistent with our confident belief in God’s promises]–”
2 CORINTHIANS 5:7 AMP

I believe Noah before he began to build the Ark, God his creator inspired him in his imagination. His thoughts began to be shaped to see the images of what God was showing him to build.

Thoughts that are shaped into images creates our imaginations.

1.
the faculty of imagining, or of forming mental images or concepts of what is not actually present to the senses.
2.
the action or process of forming such images or concepts.
3.
the product of imagining; a conception or mental creation.
4.
ability to face and resolve difficulties; resourcefulness:

Imagination is mental creation.
I remember reading about Walt Disney after he acquired the land he would just sit out there and imagine. I heard it said as mental engineering. He was building in his mind, his thoughts were taking shape.

God the Creator has given us this same gift and ability to shape our thoughts. I see where my life is today but I can shape my thoughts into what God has for me.

“Finally, believers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable and worthy of respect, whatever is right and confirmed by God’s word, whatever is pure and wholesome, whatever is lovely and brings peace, whatever is admirable and of good repute; if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think continually on these things [center your mind on them, and implant them in your heart]. The things which you have learned and received and heard and seen in me, practice these things [in daily life], and the God [who is the source] of peace and well-being will be with you.”
PHILIPPIANS 4:8-9 AMP

These are the keys to mental creation. We are created in the image and likeness of God. This is how He created us and our world.

“Now faith is the assurance (title deed, confirmation) of things hoped for (divinely guaranteed), and the evidence of things not seen [the conviction of their reality–faith comprehends as fact what cannot be experienced by the physical senses]. For by this [kind of] faith the men of old gained [divine] approval. By faith [that is, with an inherent trust and enduring confidence in the power, wisdom and goodness of God] we understand that the worlds (universe, ages) were framed and created [formed, put in order, and equipped for their intended purpose] by the word of God, so that what is seen was not made out of things which are visible.”
HEBREWS 11:1-3
